'Hester' was built by the Mitchell Brothers of Portmellon, near Mevigissey in 1978 to a design by Roger Dongray. She is a lovely looking gaff cutter, whose owner, Edward Rice has dedicated much time and effort to her over years after he bought her, when she was in need of a lot of TLC, and a good friend!

Edward commissioned us to repair damage to her starboard toe rail sustained while she was minding her own business on her mooring, and then to give her a complete external repaint and re-varnish.
