I first began repairing and
maintaining wooden boats from Dolphin Quay, Emsworth
in 1996. The level of business increased until I was
able to employ a small team of talented shipwrights
on a full time basis.
Over the years we have worked
on many fine boats of different shapes and sizes for
customers who are dedicated to their wooden boat and
appreciate that a lot of work is often necessary to
look after them properly.
During the summer of 2012
we relocated our operation to Birdham Pool Marina
which we feel now offers our customers a better
facility for carrying out the work on their boats.
Our shed is approximately
75 ft (23 metres) by 23 ft (7 metres) and we have
built a self contained machine shop in one corner
(approx 23 ft x 11 ft) with a mezzanine floor above.
I hope the images on the web-site will be
inspirational to anyone thinking of buying a wooden
boat or contemplating work on a boat they already
cherish.
We have been operational at
Birdham for nearly three years now and it has been
good to see our regular customers here as well as
new faces too.
