was built by David Hillyard in the late 1930s.
She is a sound old boat, substantially more
heavily built than the later, more familiar post
war Hillyards. Someone re-decked her quite
recently and made a very good job of it, so much
so that it made an appropriate base for the new
owners option of a new synthetic teak deck to be
laid on it.
took all the teak/iroko brightwork back to bare
wood and built up 7 coats of varnish, repainted
the topsides, revarnished the spars and
completed a host of other smaller jobs.
